Method Information

Use this command if you want to review or modify general Method information such as the Method History, Method title, Method name, or Solvent Names. The Method Information screen appears.

Setup Options

Field	Description
Method Name	Displays the method name. This field is read-only. To change the method name, select Save Method As... command from File Menu and enter the desired method name in the Save As Dialog. For a new method, select either Save Method or Save Method As... command from File Menu to enter a method name for the new method.
Developed by	Use to enter the name of the developer of the Method (30 characters, maximum).
Description	Use to enter a description of the Method (2000 characters, maximum).
Solvent Names	Displays solvent names (30 characters maximum, each solvent) when pumps are selected on the Method Configuration screen. Names can be entered from either the Method Information screen or the Method Configuration screen and will be automatically updated on the other screen.
History	Note: this field is available only when the Method Log Book is selected in GLP options when running the HSM Administration program.Display the Method Log Book. The Log displays modifications made to the Method by showing the date/time of the modification, the name of the user who made the change, and the comment entered when saving the modification.
